Three Fort Hood Soldiers Killed In Explosion In Iraq
Three 1st Cavalry Division soldiers died in an explosion during an operation in Iraq, the military said Monday.

(February 12, 2007)—Three Fort Hood soldiers died in an explosion during breach operations Friday in Baqubah, the military said.

The soldiers were identified as Staff Sgt. Alan W. Shaw, 31, of Little Rock, Ark., Staff Sgt. Eric Ross, 26, of Kenduskeag, Maine and Spc. Leeroy A. Camacho, 28, of Saipan, Mariana Islands.

The three soldiers were assigned to the 1st Cavalry Division’s 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team,
