Central Texas Judge Sentences Man Who Lied About Ties To Actor
A Central Texas judge has ordered a jail sentence for a man who lied about his ties to actor Tommy Lee Jones in order to get thousands of dollars in free clothing.

GEORGETOWN (December 4, 2009)—A judge in Georgetown has ordered an 18-month state jail term for a man who falsely claimed he had ties to Oscar winning actor Tommy Lee Jones in order to get items for free.
In a plea deal, Michael Andrew Tissier, 21, agreed to plead guilty in the case in which a company in Los Angeles sent him thousands of dollars in clothing.
But officials with NSF Clothing Inc. became suspicious when contacted by Tissier in September for items for an alleged fundraising event and for filming of "Men In Black III."
Tissier was arrested on Nov. 5.
Jones, 63, is an eighth-generation Texan known for his acting and directing.
He was born in San Saba, about 70 miles northwest of Georgetown.
