Copperas Cove: Boy Attacked At Local School, Mom Says

COPPERAS COVE (February 10, 2012)—Copperas Cove police are investigating a report that three juveniles assaulted an 11-year-old boy Thursday at Copperas Cove Junior High School.

The boy’s mother reported the assault late Thursday afternoon.

She told officers her son, who she said was assaulted at around 2:45 p.m. Thursday, was punched, pushed, poked and hit.

A school nurse treated the boy for minor injuries.

A police report says he had red marks on his neck and stomach.

There were no witnesses to the assault, the report said.
