Fort Hood: Engines Roar At Phantom Thunder Motorcycle Ride

FORT HOOD (May 25, 2011)-Fort Hood civilians, spouses and soldiers rode a 72-mile circuit through Central Texas as a way of promoting safe motorcycle operation.

Riders gathered at 7 a.m. Wednesday for the Phantom Thunder Mentorship Ride.

More than 500 riders took part in this event not only in support of motorcycle safety, but also to make clear their duty to look out for each other and keep their comrades safe.

The ride started and finished off at Sadwoski Field outside of III Corps headquarters.
