Teenage Boy Caught With Cap Guns At Texas School

SAN ANTONIO (February 21, 2012)--A 14-year-old South Texas boy is accused of having two cap guns at school in what was evidently a prank.

Officials with the Judson Independent School District in northeast San Antonio say the teen, who was arrested Monday, is facing a charge of making a false report or alarm.

District spokeswoman Aubrey Chancellor said the student pulled a gun from his backpack as a joke.

Authorities later seized two cap guns from the youth.

She said weapons charges do not apply because the guns are fakes.

Nobody was hurt.

Further details weren’t released.

The Judson ISD held classes on the federal holiday, Presidents Day.
