Xoloitzcuintli Named Giorgio Armani Steps Out At Westminster

NEW YORK (February 13, 2012)--Giorgio Armani took its first winning steps Monday at the Westminster Kennel Club show, where the xoloitzcuintli is among six new breeds at America's most prestigious dog show.

More than 2,000 dogs are entered.

Competition began Monday.

The best in show will be picked Tuesday night.

Giorgio Armani drew cheers from the fans crowded around the ring when he was picked as the best of his breed.

His breed is called a "show low" for short and is in the non-sporting category.

Giorgio turns 2 this month and his win came at a fitting time because it's Fashion Week in New York City.
