TEMPLE (October 16, 2013)--Free breast cancer screenings will be offered Saturday by the Scott & White Cancer Institute for women without medical insurance.
The screenings will be offered from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Glenda Tanner Vasicek Cancer Treatment Center at 2401 South 31st St. in Temple.
Appointments are required and may be made by calling the cancer center at (254) 724-3879.
Residents of Bell, Bosque, Coryell, Falls, and Milam Counties are eligible for the free screenings, which are funded by a grant by the Central Texas chapter of Susan G. Komen.
