BILLINGS, Mont. (May 1, 2013)--A woman posing as a nurse at a Billings, Mont., hospital accompanied doctors on patient checks, officials said.
Yellowstone County's public-health agency said the Billings Clinic notified the agency Thursday of the impostor.
The hospital also contacted police.
A notice was sent that advised health care workers at the city's other hospital, St. Vincent Healthcare, to be on the lookout for the woman, who dressed in scrubs or a lab coat.
Curtis Harper with St. Vincent says the woman accompanied physicians on patient rounds at Billings Clinic several times.
Billings police Chief Rich St. John says no arrest has been made.
The Billings Gazette reported that hospital officials named the woman, but St. John declined to confirm her identity.
