BRYAN (August 26, 2013)--A Bryan man was facing drug charges Monday after what police identified as liquid PCP leaked from a container hidden in his shoe and made him sick.
Michael Deon Green was held Monday in the Brazos County Jail, charged with possession of a controlled substance, tampering with evidence and public intoxication, online records showed.
His bonds total more than $19,000.
Green was in a car that police pulled over early Sunday because of a broken light.
An officer smelled PCP and noticed that Green, who was named in an outstanding warrant charging failure to identify, seemed to be incoherent.
Green was taken to jail where he took off his shoes.
Officers then discovered the leaky container from which PCP had leaked, soaking Green's sock and shoe.
Green was treated at a hospital and then jailed.
PCP, which is also known as angel dust, was used as a horse tranquilizer and can cause hallucinations and violent behavior.
