GATESVILLE (September 14, 2010)--A two-vehicle head on collision Tuesday night north of Gatesville on Texas Highway 36 injured two people and forced closure of the highway for almost an hour.
A helicopter was sent to the scene to evacuate one victim who was flown to Scott and White Hospital in Temple suffering from unknown injuries.
A second victim was taken to Scott and White Hospital by Ft. Hood EMS in undisclosed condition.

Both vehicles were occupied only by their drivers.
The accident happened about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday some 4 miles north of Gatesville.
DPS had the highway back to normal traffic shortly after 9 p.m.
