WACO (July 5, 2012)—Three people were taken by ambulance to a local hospital Wednesday night after a two-vehicle accident on West Waco Drive.

Police were sent at about 10:30 p.m. to North 9th Street and Waco Drive where an SUV and another vehicle collided.

Two passengers from the SUV and one from the other vehicle were taken from the scene to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers at the scene said the driver of the SUV was attempting a left turn onto 9th Street from Waco Drive when the accident happened.
