KILLEEN (August 10, 2012)—A second man has been arrested in connection with a robbery and kidnapping outside a Killeen night club that also may have involved a sexual assault.

Josh Harris was listed on the Bell County Jail Log Friday morning, ordered held in lieu of bonds totaling $200,000, charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated sexual assault.

Harris, who was arrested Thursday after a tip was called in to police, is a soldier assigned to Fort Hood’s 16th Signal Company, a post spokesman said.

Harris and another man, Che Demarco Middleton, 21, are accused of robbing, kidnapping and sexually assaulting a woman last weekend outside the Dollhouse in Killeen.

Middleton, also a Fort Hood soldier, is being held in lieu of bonds totaling $200,000, charged with aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping.

Police, in an arrest affidavit, say Harris and Middleton approached a man and his fiancée while they were parked outside the nightclub, robbed the man and forced the woman out of the car, after which they forced her to disrobe and get into their car.

The man followed the suspect’s car when they drove away and called police on his cellular telephone.

Police located the victim and later the suspect’s car a short distance away, but the driver of the suspect’s car sped away when he saw police.

A car chase followed but was short lived when the suspect car crashed into a utility pole.

Middleton was arrested at the scene at the intersection of Chantz Street and Farm-to-Market 3470.

The other suspect was able to elude police on foot.

In the backseat of the wrecked car police found a naked woman who told officers she had been kidnapped by a group of men earlier in the morning and forced at gunpoint to perform oral sex on at least one of them.

Police recovered a silver handgun from the floorboard of the wrecked car.

The woman's boyfriend later told police he was robbed of a billfold, his cellular telephone, $30 in cash and two skateboards.
