MOODY (November 2, 2012)—A truck tractor, semi-trailer crashed into a house Friday morning in Moody after first colliding with a pickup truck.

The accident happened at about 8:10 a.m. at the intersection of Spring Valley Road and Farm-to-Market Road 107 on the east side of the city.

There were two ambulances at the scene, along with Moody police and fire units.

The drivers of both trucks were taken by ambulance to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not known.

A police officer at the scene said the pick up truck was turning onto Spring Valley and the semi was westbound on FM 107 when the two collided at the intersection.

After the two trucks collided, the semi continued through the intersection and into the front of the house.

There were people inside the house when the accident happened but no one in the home was hurt.

Westbound lanes of FM 107 were blocked and traffic was being diverted while crews cleared the wreckage.
