Woman Found Guilty Of Son’s 2012 Christmastime Murder

A Central Texas woman was has been found guilty of murder in the December 2012 murder of her son.

MERIDIAN (November 22, 2013) A Bosque County woman was found guilty of murder Thursday in a Meridian courtroom in connection with the December 2012 stabbing death of her son.

Olivia Rosas, 49, was found guilty in 220th District Court late Thursday evening and Judge Phil Robertson sentenced her to 15 years in state prison.

Steven Ramirez, 28, was stabbed during an argument at a home at a residence in the 700 block of John Street in Morgan.

Bosque County deputies said at the time that Rosas was arrested later at the same address.

Ramirez was flown by helicopter ambulance to John Peter Smith Hospital, in Fort Worth where he died on Christmas Eve.
