BREMOND (February 10, 2011)—Mr. Dewey would be proud.

Bremond librarian Tessy Crawford was named 2010 Librarian of the Year for the Central Texas Library Systems.

A member of the Bremond Library Board nominated Crawford, boasting that “her enthusiasm and encouragement led to record numbers of children’s books being checked out and read this summer.”

In addition to increasing literacy in the community with programs like the Summer Reading Program, she’s also spearheading the expansion of the Bremond Library into a new building.

The Central Texas Library System has been serving central Texas libraries since 1969.
