BRYAN (October 8, 2013)—A janitor at an elementary school in Bryan who’s accused of trying to fondle several female students while hugging them, has been charged with three counts of indecency with a child by contact.
Juan Jose Ledezma, 58, was held in the Brazos County Jail Tuesday in lieu of bonds totaling $105,000.
He was arrested after an investigation that started in May when police received allegations that Ledezma, while working at Neal Elementary School, inappropriately touched several girls while giving them hugs, authorities said.
Police say an 11-year-old and two 12-year-old girls came forward over the course of the investigation and said they had been inappropriately touched by Ledezma several times, KBTX-TV in Bryan reported.
Ledezma, who was arrested Friday, resigned from the Bryan Independent School District shortly after the investigation began.
Further details weren't immediately released by police.
