WACO (July 23, 2013)—A crowd of residents gathered to watch as McLennan County deputies served a search warrant Tuesday at a home in East Waco.
McLennan County Chief Deputy Matt Cawthon said deputies surrounded the house near in the 1100 block of Faulkner Lane just after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
As many as 50 neighborhood residents gathered to watch the raid, Cawthon said.
Three men were arrested and deputies seized about 14 grams of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm from the house.
Two cars were towed from the residence.
Tuesday afternoon, Christopher Marcus Smith, 34, was held in the McLennan County Jail on a possession of a controlled substance charge and a parole violation, Korwin Jamaun Pierson, 27, was held on a possession of a controlled substance charge, and Jonathan Scott White, 35, was held on charges of possession of a controlled substance, felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with physical evidence, criminal mischief and driving without a valid license, according to online jail records.
Pierson’s bond was set at $25,000.
White was ordered held under bonds totaling more than $68,000.
Smith was ordered held without bond.
