FORT HOOD (August 16, 2012)--The Comanche I, II and III Neighborhood Watch and Bike Rodeo Block Party will kick off on Friday, teaching residents about neighborhood safety.

From 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., kids are invited to bring their bikes over to Smith Middle School to learn about riding safely, wearing helmets, how to register a bike and ways to keep the bike and other property safe.

The family event is targeted to teach the public how to prevent crime in the neighborhood.
