Local Dairy Queen Robbed At Gunpoint

Police were looking for a suspect Saturday after a local Dairy Queen was robbed at gunpoint.

WACO (May 4, 2013)—Waco police were looking for a robber Saturday after a local Dairy Queen was held up at gunpoint.

The robber struck at around 9:15 p.m. Friday at the restaurant at 125 La Salle Ave.

He forced the manager into the rear of the restaurant, took an undisclosed amount of cash and left through the back door, police said.

Several customers were in the restaurant at the time of the robbery, but no one was injured.

The robber was black, about 6-feet tall, and was wearing dark clothing and gloves, police said.
