KILLEEN (July 3, 2012)—Killeen police were looking for a gunman Tuesday evening after a shooting outside a local apartment complex that sent a 21-year-old man to the hospital.

The shooting was reported at around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at 3170 Malibu Lane, where the victim told officers he was shot after getting into a scuffle with another man who confronted him outside of the apartment building.

The gunman fled in a red and black sports car, police said.

The victim, who was shot in the leg, was taken to Metroplex Hospital.

His injury was not life threatening, police said.
