WACO (December 17, 2012)-- Breann Gabriella Olivas, 18, and her 17-month-old daughter Mallory Zuniga, who disappeared a week ago, are safe, Waco police said Monday.
“Breann contacted Waco P.D. and it has been verified that she and the baby are safe,” Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Monda.
The woman asked that her whereabouts not be disclosed, he said.
Last Thursday Waco police asked for the public’s help in finding Olivas and her daughter who were last heard from on Dec. 10.
Olivas, who lives with her husband in West Waco, was last seen attending a cosmetology class at McLennan Community College.
She attended her 16-year-old brother's funeral several weeks ago and appeared to be very distraught, police said.
Police said at the time Olivas and her daughter may be in the Odessa area.
