WACO (April 10, 2013)—Donald Eugene Moore III, 36, of Waco, who was injured late Tuesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash in a North Waco neighborhood, was in critical condition Wednesday afternoon at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center, police said.

Moore was injured Tuesday after he evidently lost control of the motorcycle, which struck a mailbox in the 3400 block of Forrester Lane, police said.

No other vehicles were involved, police said.

“Mr. Moore was not wearing a helmet and speed may have been a contributing factor in the crash,” Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said Wednesday.
