MILAM COUNTY (August 16, 2014) The pilot of a crop duster was transported to the hospital Saturday after crashing in a field.
The crash happened around 10 a.m. Saturday off FM 485 in Milam County.
DPS says the pilot was transported to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan with unknown injuries.
According to DPS, the pilot has been identified as 62-year-old Richard Ranspot.
The plane is a Cessna 188 - AG Husky, which has not been made since 1985.
DPS has not said what caused the plane to crash.
