Victim Of Deadly Early-Morning Shooting Identified

Police late Thursday afternoon identified a man who died at a local hospital after he was shot repeatedly early Thursday morning and named a second man they say may have information about the murder.

KILLEEN (December 6, 2012)--Antonio Terrell Griffin, 31, of Killeen was identified late Thursday afternoon as the victim of a deadly early-morning shooting at a home in the 1100 block of Royal Crest Drive.

Killeen officers found Griffin, who had been shot repeatedly, after responding to a report of gunfire at around 2:30 a.m. Thursday at 1130 Royal Crest Dr.

He was taken to Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center where he was pronounced dead at 4:45 a.m., police said.

An autopsy was ordered.

Griffin was in the residence with another man when an unidentified female who was upstairs heard gunfire, police said.

She went downstairs and found Griffin, but the other man was gone, police said.

Investigators want to talk to Michael Maurice Cunningham, 29, who police say may have information about the murder.
