WACO (May 2, 2013)--Police were searching Thursday for a man who held up a fast food restaurant late Wednesday night in Waco.
Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said the man walked into the Jack-In-The-Box restaurant late Wednesday night in the 700 block of South University Parks Drive, near the Baylor campus, and demanded money from the cash registers.
Swanton said the man, who claimed to have a weapon, went behind the counter, forced all the employees to the floor and demanded all their money, as well.
Swanton said employees told officers they never actually saw a weapon.
The man, who was black, was wearing all dark clothing and his face was covered.
He left the store on foot.
No one was injured in the incident.
