WACO (February 1, 2013)—Police were searching for an armed man who robbed a Waco convenience store employee who was taking overnight receipts to the bank Friday morning.

Officers were sent just before 9 a.m. Friday to the Cefco Store, near Lakeshore Drive and Hillcrest Drive, after an employee reported that a gunman had robbed him.

Police were searching for a white man in his 20s driving a silver and brown Chevrolet pickup truck who left the scene westbound on Lakeshore Drive.

The robber was about 6-feet tall, has dirty-blonde hair, and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

No one was injured.
