KILLEEN (June 21, 2012)—Killeen police released security camera photos Thursday of a man who robbed a Subway restaurant earlier this week.

The robbery was reported at around 11 p.m. Tuesday at the Subway at 612 North Fort Hood Rd.

An employee told officers the man entered the store, stood for a short time and then went into the bathroom.

The man emerged as a customer was leaving with an order and demanded money while motioning at what the employee thought was a gun hidden under his shirt.

The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash, possibly in a white four-door Nissan Altima.

The robber was black and about 5-foot-7, with a slender build.

He was wearing a cap with braids coming out from underneath, a dark blue work shirt, a white undershirt and dark blue pants.
