MARLIN (August 1, 2013)--Department of Public Safety troopers and local law enforcement agencies were searching Thursday for a woman who was reported missing two months ago in Fort Worth.

Adrian Denise Thornton, 59, was last seen June 1.

DPS Trooper D.L. Wilson said some circumstances surrounding her disappearance are suspicious.

Thornton is black, 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs about 185 pounds.

Authorities don’t know what she was wearing when she disappeared, but think she was driving a white 1997 Lincoln Town Car with a Texas license plate DVD-3D3, Wilson said.

Wilson said there is information that suggests Thornton may have been in Falls County and perhaps in Marlin.

Fort Worth police investigators and Marlin police were working together to gather information about where she might be, Wilson said.

They’re asking anyone with information about Thornton's whereabouts is asked to call Fort Worth police at (817) 335-4222.
