BELL COUNTY (June 16, 2014) A man who used his cellphone to call for help after getting lost in a park at Stillhouse Hollow Lake that’s popular with hikers was found safe Monday afternoon.
Bell County sheriff’s deputies launched a search for the man Monday in Chalk Ridge Falls Park off FM 1670 after receiving the call for help, Lt. Donnie Adams said.
The park has about five miles of trails, and hikers can also leave the trail to hike up a creek bed that’s filled with caves and springs.
