ROBINSON (November 20, 2013) A North Texas woman was arrested Tuesday morning at a truck stop in Robinson after several truck drivers reported to police she had solicited them for sex.

Sandra Lynn Bergeman, 48, was ordered held in lieu of $3,000 bond charged with prostitution, according to McLennan County Jail records.

Robinson police Lt. Tracy O'Connor said officers patrolling near the Pilot Truck Stop, on South Interstate 35, were approached by some truck drivers who said a woman solicited them for sex while they were at the truck stop.

One of the drivers was able to provide a description of the woman and her car and within a few minutes one of the officers spotted the car and a woman who was trying to go inside the truck stop.

When the officer began questioning the woman, O'Connor said, she admitted she had propositioned the truck drivers and was arrested.

O'Connor said a check of the woman’s police record revealed 19 arrests for various charges including prostitution, drug charges and a robbery in Utah.
