TAMPA, Fla. (March 15, 2013)--For the second time this week, Carnival Cruise Lines says one of its ships has developed problems during a cruise.

This time what the company said is "a technical issue" has affected the sailing speed of the Carnival Legend, forcing the cancellation of a stop at Grand Cayman Islands.

The ship is expected to arrive Sunday as scheduled in Tampa, Fla., after a seven-day cruise.

Passengers will be given $100 credits, refunds on pre-purchased shore excursions in Grand Cayman and half off on a future cruise.

Another Carnival ship, the Dream, experienced problems with an on-board generator while docked in St. Maarten and the company announced Thursday that passengers would be flown home.

A month ago, passengers on the Carnival Triumph spent five days in the Gulf of Mexico without power or working toilets.
