PARSONS, Kan. (November 27, 2013) A man wanted in connection with the deaths of a southeast Kansas woman and her three young children was in custody Wednesday.
The man was arrested Tuesday evening in Independence, Kan., the Kansas attorney general's office said in a statement.
He has not been charged.
The man was wanted in the deaths of Cami Umbarger, 29, of Parsons, Kan., and her three children.
Authorities have not said how they were killed or where they bodies were found.
Police in Parsons, which is about 125 miles southeast of Wichita, received a call Monday from concerned co-workers and family members after Umbarger didn't show up for work.
Services are planned next week for Umbarger and her three children, ages 9, 6 and 4.
