NEW YORK (March 21, 2014) A 14-year-old boy who opened fire on a city bus in Brooklyn, killing a passenger, was in custody Friday, police said.

The shooting happened at around 6:20 p.m. Thursday on a bus in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.

The boy was taken into custody and a firearm was recovered.

No charges were immediately filed.

Angel Rojas, 39, of Brooklyn was taken to Woodhull Hospital, where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot wound to the head, police said.
