EDMOND, Okla. (July 4, 2013)—A boy died Thursday in Edmond, Okla., after he was run over by a float at the end of an Independence Day parade, authorities said.
The boy was riding on a martial arts group's float Thursday morning in the city's LibertyFest parade when he fell or got down from the float and the float struck him, Edmond Police Officer James Hamm said.
