WAYNE, N.J. (October 6, 2012)--A bus carrying about 60 people overturned Saturday morning on an Interstate 80 exit ramp in northern New Jersey and three people were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
State police say the commercial bus from Canada overturned at around 7:45 Saturday morning in Wayne.
Rescuers removed some trapped passengers form the bus.
Sgt. Adam Grossman said a number of people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
It's not clear what caused the bus to flip over.
Photos from the scene showed the bus on its side at the bottom of the embankment that the ramp wraps around.
The left lane of the eastbound interstate was shut down near the accident, as is the exit ramp.
Traffic delays were expected.
