ST. LOUIS (June 14, 2013)--A 59-year-old man shot and killed three employees before turning the gun on himself after an argument at his small home health care business in St. Louis, police said.
In a news release, police identified Ahmed Dirir as the gunman in the shooting Thursday afternoon at AK Home Health Care LLC just south of downtown St. Louis.
Dirir's victims were identified as Khadra Muse, 44, of Olivette, Seaeed Abdulla, 29, of St. Louis, and Bernice Solomon-Redd, 54 of East St. Louis, Ill.
St. Louis Police Capt. Michael Sack said the gunman was the owner or co-owner of the nursing services provider, and that the victims were his employees.
Police says surveillance video showed the shooting began after a brief argument inside the office.
