BEIJING (December 3, 2012)--A fire in a clothing factory killed 14 people in the south of China, the official Xinhua News Agency said in a brief report Tuesday.

The agency said one other person was injured in the fire in Guangdong province.

Last month, a fire at a clothing factory in Bangladesh killed 112 people and highlighted dangerous workplace conditions.

Workers who survived the fire said exit doors were locked.
