TALLULAH, La. (January 30, 2013)--The bodies of two men and a woman missing since Jan. 7 were found Wednesday in the Tensas River west of Tallulah, La., Louisiana State Police said.
Police spokeswoman Julie Lewis says Eddie Cobb, Jr., 68 and Ella Williams, 52, both of Beaumont, and Cobb's nephew Brady Brown, 49, of Columbia, S.C., evidently drowned after their 2006 Dodge Stratus ran off the road.
They were heading toward Shreveport, 150 miles west of Tallulah, after a funeral in Columbia.
After more than a week during which no one had heard from them, Columbia police asked authorities across the Southeast to help in the search.
Lewis says a police spotter looking for the car by plane saw a bumper floating in the river Tuesday.
Divers found the car Wednesday
