Dog That Vanished After Interstate Crash To Be Reunited With Owner

DES MOINES, Iowa (January 4, 2013)--A dog that vanished after a multi-vehicle crash on Dec. 21 in northern Iowa has been found and will be returned to its owners.

The dog, named Jackie, was traveling with Cody and Colby Bostick and their infant son, Easton, when the accident occurred on Interstate 35 near Webster City.

Colby Bostick, 27, died in the crash.

Jackie ran from the scene.

On Tuesday a Minnesota woman found the dog along the interstate in Story County and took her home.

The woman posted an item online in an attempt to find the dog's owner.

Cody Bostick, who has since moved to Texas, exchanged photos with the woman and confirmed the dog is Jackie and they’re now making plans to get Jackie back with her family.
