NEW YORK (November 11, 2013) Two of the three musicians killed in a shooting in their apartment in Brooklyn were members of the Iranian indie rock band The Yellow Dogs, New York City police said Monday.
The band's manager says the gunman was a member of a different group.
Police say he opened fire and killed three people, then went to the roof of the East Williamsburg row house, where he killed himself.
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says there was a dispute over money.
Authorities initially thought the gunman was a former member of the band.
The manager of The Yellow Dogs says two members were killed, along with another musician who lived with them but wasn't in the band.
