BOSTON (December 6, 2012)--A Massachusetts judge has granted a partial victory to a Roman Catholic college sued by an ex-student who claims administrators didn't help her enough when she complained that her roommate was having too much sex.
Lindsay Blankmeyer claims her roommate frequently had sex when she was in the room and says in the federal lawsuit she was driven into a suicidal depression because Stonehill College officials wouldn't find her a new place to live.
She is seeking $150,000 in damages.
The college asked that the suit be dismissed.
Last month a judge threw out the part of the lawsuit in which Blankmeyer claimed discrimination, but the judge allowed her claim that Stonehill didn't offer her alternate accommodations.
The next scheduled court date is Dec. 19.
