WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. (February 16, 2013)--A California man was in custody Saturday in Florida after his arrest Friday on an outstanding murder warrant in the death of his ex-wife.

Lonnie Kocontes was arrested Friday night.

His ex-wife, Micki Kanesaki, went overboard from an Italian cruise ship in 2006.

Her body washed ashore the next day in southwest Italy.

Kanesaki, 52, was travelling with Kocontes.

A spokesman for the ship’s owner, Island Cruises, said Kanesaki left the cabin around 1 a.m. for a cup of tea.

Kocontes reported her missing when he woke up and couldn't find her.

They divorced in 2002 after six years of marriage, but continued to live together for a few years after the split.
