Man Who Threatened “Remember Fort Hood” Charged

ROME, Ga. (April 5, 2014) Robert Gordon Kornick, 59, of Centre, Ala., has been charged with making terroristic threats after authorities say employees of a hospital in northwest were threatened by a man who was saying "Remember Fort Hood."

Kornick was charged with terroristic threats and acts, Floyd County, Ga., jail records show.

Kornick is accused of making threats Thursday at Floyd Medical Center in Rome and is also accused of threatening doctors and other staff members of Harbin Clinic's cardiology unit.

On Wednesday, Spc. Ivan Lopez, 34, killed three soldiers and wounded 16 others before taking his own life.
