PELHAM, N.H. (July 4, 2012)--A fireworks explosion set a house in Pelham, N.H., ablaze and filled it with smoke, injuring at least nine people.
Police say when they arrived Tuesday night there were lots of fireworks in and around the home in the town of about 13,000 residents an hour drive south of Concord.
They said their initial report is fireworks blew up in the home.
Firefighters put out the fire.
Police say the nine injured people range in age from infant to adult.
They say two children were taken to Boston hospitals for treatment.
Neighbor Richard Souza said the residents of the home set off fireworks every year.
Tuesday night he said he heard what sounded like a lot of fireworks going off and soon after heard fire trucks roaring into the neighborhood.
