BROOKHAVEN, Pa. (October 11, 2012)--A man left his 1-year-old daughter home alone while he tried to break into neighbors' houses in a Philadelphia suburb, police said.
Arthur Langley, 20, was arrested Wednesday morning in Brookhaven, Pa., after a resident called 911 to report a suspicious person, police said.
Langley allegedly told police he had been looking for places people sometimes leave keys, and then mentioned he'd left his daughter home alone.
Police went to his house and found the girl in a child seat watching television.
Police called the girl's mother to come pick her up.
Langley was held Thursday in lieu of $100,000 bond on charges including attempted burglary and endangering the welfare of a child.
