NEW HAMPTON, N.H. (June 16, 2013)--A motorcyclist has been charged after topping speeds of 150 miles per hour on a New Hampshire interstate highway.
State police say a trooper in an unmarked car spotted the motorcyclist Saturday afternoon on Interstate 93 in New Hampton, N.H.
The trooper says he clocked the biker at speeds of 130 to 152 miles per hour in a 65-mile-per-hour zone while weaving in and out of traffic.
The officer called ahead to another trooper, who stopped the rider at a toll plaza, 45 miles south in Hooksett
Police say Edson Barbosa,44, of Stoneham, Mass., was charged with felony reckless conduct.
Lt. John Marasco says he's never heard of anybody charged with going that fast.
