INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (November 16, 2012)--Three people are dead and one was in critical condition Friday after a shooting in the Kansas City suburb of Independence.
Officers found the victims after responding to the home early Friday in response to a report of a home invasion.
Capt. John Cato said a motive has not been established, but the crime is not believed to be a random crime.
The victims were identified as Maria Hernandez, 48, her boyfriend, Thomas Madrigal, and Hernandez's son, Antonio, 20.
The fourth person was not identified.
Cato says police are looking for two suspects.
