LAS VEGAS (February 21, 2013)—Occupants of a black Range Rover fired at a Maserati early Thursday before a crash on the Las Vegas Strip that killed three and injured several others.
The Maserati crashed into a taxi that burst into flames.
The Maserati driver, the taxi driver and a passenger in the cab were killed.
Sgt. John Sheahan says investigators don't think anyone in the sports car was shooting.
Police are looking for the distinctive black Range Rover with dark tinted windows and black rims that left the scene after the crash at around 4:30 a.m. Thursday the intersection of Flamingo and Las Vegas boulevards.
The intersection is surrounded by some of the most famous casinos on the Strip, including the Bellagio, Caesars Palace and Bally's.
