ACCRA, Ghana (November 7, 2012)--The top three floors of a six-story shopping center collapsed in Accra, Ghana, trapping people, witnesses said.

An eyewitness told The Associated Press that search and rescue teams are working to free those caught in the shopping center belonging to the Melcom Group in the Achimota neighborhood of Accra.

No information about deaths or injuries was immediately available.
