RIVERSIDE, Calif. (October 31, 2012)—Krista McCary, the wife of a neo-Nazi leader who was shot to death, said she discovered her husband’s bloodied body on the family couch.
McCary testified Tuesday that her 10-year-old stepson came downstairs and confessed right after she found the body on May 1, 2011.
The boy, who’s now 12, is charged as a juvenile with killing his father, Jeff Hall, 32.
The unemployed plumber was a regional leader of the National Socialist Movement.
The boy told police he was tired of being abused by his father.
Defense attorney Matthew Hardy said the boy has learning disabilities and had been conditioned by his father's violent beliefs.
Prosecutor Michael Soccio says Hall's neo-Nazi beliefs have nothing to do with the case.
He said the boy was violent and had been expelled from multiple schools.
